Preparing for Reiki Treatments/Workshops

The time you spend …Preparing for Reiki Treatments and or Reiki Workshops will give the student/client a wonderful experience or less than desired. Please do your homework!

Let’s talk a bit about the importance of delivering a quality Reiki service and figuring out how much you should charge for a Reiki treatment? With energy healing there should be an exchange of energy , service or money. You could have a sliding scale. Some people say you should not charge for an energy healing because the energy comes from God. Is your time not worth something? You could say that the healing is free, but your time is worth so much… $30, 50, 75 or even 100.

Tip: You as a Reiki practitioner, should strive to exceed your clients expectations. That will leave them with a positive outlook on your reiki healing service and giving reiki treatments in general. They will want to return for another Reiki treatment. When they feel like they are getting beneficial treatment, their moneys worth and results, they will tell others.

Some tips for HOW you can exceed your clients expectations in receiving a Reiki treatment or Reiki class:

In the beginning there is necessary PREPARATION… made days before the appointment

A. Healing Space or Workshop Environment

1) Pick a healing space and become familiarity with it. Are you renting the Reiki space by the day or hour? Check it out, and make sure you know where the toilets are! How well do you know the space and room set up where you are going to be giving reiki? For example if you are hiring a hall or room to give treatments or facilitate workshops you might want to go over there before hand and make a list. See if it has a kitchen for making tea and coffee. Does it have lunch facilities or a restaurant near by? Heating and cooling: is it going to be warm enough or cool enough? Is there enough space and chairs for the number of your students/clients? Is there a registration table? Do you also need a materials table?Do you have a receipt book and sign-up sheets?
2) Clear out the negative energy and replace it with golden bright light. Install an atmosphere of peace and harmony.

B. Materials
Think about, contemplate, and organize the tools of your trade; the things you might need during your Reiki energy healing session or Reiki workshop. Do you use a LCD projector, an overhead projector, white board, butcher paper board and easel, do you have pens and markers, are you going to need an extension cord with multiple plug-ins? Have you made enough copies of all your handouts? How many people are coming? Do you have books or things for sale? Do you have Reiki reference books that you display? Do you have a Reiki table available, with blankets, pillows, etc.? Do you have Lemon Water to drink?

Start your class on time. Finish on time.
